A stunning Edwardian cluster with all the charm and elegance you'd expect from a vintage engagement ring. The central oval Sapphire is a wonderful Royal Blue colour and is secured in a slightly elevated claw setting. There is a row of gleaming Old Cut Diamonds to the outside, each in a grain and half bezel setting with a lightly scalloped edge with mill grain beading. There is a pretty pierced basket below leading to the dainty tapering band.
Made in 18ct Yellow Gold and a Platinum setting to the Diamonds. Small stamp to the band.
The central oval Sapphire has been calculated in the setting and is estimated to weigh 0.90 Carat. A lovely Royal Blue colour and with a few small natural inclusions under 10x magnification. The twelve Old Cut Diamonds to the outer edge are estimated to weigh 0.035 Carat. Totalling approximately 0.42 Carat. SI1 Clarity and H Colour.
The setting measures 12mm x 9mm.
A wonderful original antique ring which would be perfect for an engagement ring or equally as a pretty right hand ring.
