This gorgeous original Art Deco cluster has the most beautiful velvety blue Cushion shape Sapphire to the centre in a bezel setting with mill grain edge. Surrounded by row of Old Cut Diamonds to the outside with a larger stone to the top and sides with smaller Diamonds between, these are bezel set with a mill grain edge. There is a pretty pierced basket below leading to the dainty 1.2mm band.
Made in 18ct White Gold and Platinum. Stamped to the band. Faint original engraving to the band with initials and the date '18-7-29' for 1929.
The central Cushion Cut Sapphire has been calculated in the setting and is estimated to weigh 0.83 Carat. It has been verbally assessed by a qualified Gemologist as being a natural Sapphire with no evidence of heat treatment. The outer Old Cut Diamonds total approximately 0.36 Carat. SI1-2 Clarity and G Colour.
The setting measures 12mm x 12mm.
